Take a look at

Ely Greenfield’s FishEye component
One of the great component masters of the Flex2 age can be seen using some very kewl patterns in his code. This is what I love about the world, learning things! There are a lot of valuable things found in the source code of that component that could make a novice component dev into a intermidiate with abit of study.

Don’t try and copy the code but, analyze it for patterns on an abstract level. Then copy the patterns!

PS Heh, there are no examples or kewl stuff like that up here; I am just finishing editing a film I shot of my children’s school’s 4th grade play(for DVD production). I hate the feeling like I’m missing something when I get torn away from programming for a week.

HAHA I guess working in Adobe Production Studio is like a vacation for me. I can say this with great confidence; using Adobe programs just gave me about 40 new ideas for components and 2 hard core component suites I will be commensing at the beginning of next week!
