Flex2 :: Going to California :: Component Developers Summit
Hi,
Well it’s been since 1999(the birth of my son) since I have been to the west coast(grew up in Seattle). I have been invited to the Adobe Component Developer Summit in San Francisco June22/23rd. This is a true joy for me, knowing the right way to do things means a lot to me and how my brain functions.
While I’m there I will be learning about;
- Creating Components for Flex
- Flex Framework in Exhaustive Detail
- ActionScript Performance and Optimization
- Flex Data Services
- Accessibility(something I am really interested in)
- Component Skinning and Customization
Not to mention meeting some of the master minds of this Flex ‘effort’.
All these topics will rocket me to light speed and start to answer some questions the rest of you have. I really think after this trip I will be able to help the community with more focused and confident answers about custom components.
I am a component developer, I need some application developer friends; market research. HA! 
Not to mention some really intriguing component sets for sale.
The 3rd party component market place for Flex2 components will be a place where anyone with enough ingenuity can have a spot on the hill.
If you are interested in making components for sale, now is the time to start studying the flex framework. As far as me, I have so many ideas and not enough time
