Well here is an Adobe sponsored mailing-list.

Flex Components List

This isn’t something I started either, so don’t even give me crap. Looks like there will be a lot of great minds and free information on how to MAKE COMPONENTS.

If you go to this list and ask questions that should be asked on flexcoders IE using components in Applications), mark my words, the innovators will leave the list. You probably will also get harshly moderated.

Really, this is a serious list to foster the new flex component 3rd party market. Regardless if you like spicy open source or bitter commercial components , we will see what we can do.

Adobe also has created flex.org, the flex exchange on their site and has some Flex forums. Right on brother! Let’s see if we can create a helpful community surrounding flex component.

Plus the labs, I think they are doing a great job to help there developer community that in the end, is what makes them money.
